Our preschool curriculum introduces language, math, science, and social skills in a way to encourage learning at your child’s own pace.
Children between the ages of 2 and 6 develop physical coordination, formulate and combine ideas, are able to learn more complex games, and begin the journey of learning about themselves and each other.
Our teachers provide individual attention to support every child’s unique needs. Our children strengthen their cognitive and social skills with fun memory games and team activities such as creating collages, which combine creative expression with a tactile experience in a group setting.
Our 2 and 3 year old area is large and spacious, allowing students to explore and expand their imagination. The room is designed to help learn the fundamentals in a fun and engaging way. Fundamentals like:
- Language and communication skills
- Social and emotional development
- Science and math skills
- Letter and number recognition
- Colors and shapes
Our four and five year old program prepares students for kindergarten and beyond. Not only do we continue to build upon their all academic and mathematical skills, literacy development and science knowledge, we also focus on developing the underlying content and concepts. Our children leave with the skills, knowledge and excitement to conquer their next challenge, often performing above grade level.
Our Building Kidz preschool curriculum is designed to develop each child as a whole, in six key areas:
- Social intelligence supporting emotional development
- Cognitive development
- Fine and gross motor development
- Language and communication
- Academic achievement
Building Kidz enhances a typical preschool program by including performing arts in each classroom. Language experiences are introduced with performing arts integration, to support accelerated literacy development. At the school you will see our dramatic play area that helps us continue to develop the whole child by exercising their creativity, imagination and artistic skills.
